Sanaya Khanna is a student at Pathways School, Gurgaon, and the founder of The Horizon Network. Her academic interests lie in History, Individuals and Society, and English language and literature. Her wider interests however lie in policy, legal rules, and how access to remedy is so uneven in practice. She also has research experience into the history of India’s wars, and the impact of the same on the families of the soldiers and international diplomacy.
She noticed that the schemes written for migrant women in Delhi exist, but the community of women for whom the schemes were created rarely knew about them. She aims to bring socially and economically empowering opportunities to the women themselves in order to support and improve their livelihoods.
